  • TUESDAY JUNE, 2nd
    Visit of the Château de Versailles


    Step into the royal history with the visit of the Château de Versailles and its gardens, one of France's most illustrious heritage monuments and the finest and most  accomplished work of the 17th century.  You will have the opportunity to appreciate all the richness of this place and to stroll through its sculpted gardens designed by Le Nôtre.

    Certified professional guides will accompany the group on this discovery tour in English, enriching the visit with anecdotes and historical facts about this not-to-be-missed landmark.
     
    The tour will  introduce you to the main rooms and highlights of the château:
    • The Grands Appartements du Roi, a succession of richly decorated salons dedicated to the Sun King.
    • The Hall of Mirrors: the masterpiece of Versailles
    • The King's bedroom
    • The Queen's bedroom

    Be enchanted by the Musical Gardens, where fountains and groves come alive to the rhythm of baroque music. An immersive experience, blending nature and art in harmony.

    02:00 pm: Transfer from Versailles to UIC-P

  • WEDNESDAY JUNE, 3rd
    Neighbourhood tours


    Walking tour of Montmartre in English:
    Montmartre hill is the highest point in the capital (130 metres). On this guided walk, you'll discover the charm and magic of Montmartre, making it one of the most bohemian districts in Paris.

    The itinerary will take past some of the district's most famous sites :
    • The Place des Abbesses and its typical metro station
    • The Moulin de la Galette, the only working mill on the hilltop
    • The delightful Place du Tertre, with its legendary portrait painters and small cafés
    • The enchanting Montmartre of the film Amélie Poulain
    • The famous Lapin d'Argile cabaret
    • The vineyards of Montmartre
    • And of course the Sacré Coeur, with its breathtaking views over the city.

    Walking tour of Historic Paris in English: 
    This tour will take you through the historic heart of Paris! Accompanied by a guide who is a true connoisseur of the city of Paris, this tour is an opportunity to discover the cult places and main buildings in the centre of the capital.
    With anecdotes and historical facts, it's a moment of culture and conviviality that the group will share with their guide.

     This tour will take you to the following sites:
    • The Pont-Neuf and the famous Quai des Orfèvres
    • The Square du Vert Galant
    • The Place Dauphine with its triangular shape
    • The Quai de l'Horloge
    • The Conciergerie
    • The Palais de Justice
    • The Sainte Chapelle, jewels of Gothic art
    • And finishes with the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral.

    10:00 am: Start of the guided tour of Montmartre 
    12:00 pm: Lunch in a restaurant in Montmartre
    1:30 pm: Transfer to Historic Paris
    2:30 pm: Start of tour of Historic Paris (with guide)
    4:30 pm: Transfer from the end of the tour to UIC-P

  • THURSDAY JUNE, 4th
    Visit of the House of Monet Giverny


    Follow in the footsteps of the famous painter Claude Monet with a visit to his house and gardens in Giverny.

    An iconic site where art and nature merge in perfect harmony. Inside his colourful home, you’ll discover rooms preserved in the artist’s own taste. Outside, stroll through the two gardens he personally designed: the Clos Normand, with its rectilinear layout and canopies of aerial plants surrounding dazzling beds, and the world-famous Water Garden, with its lily pond and Japanese bridge featured in so many of his masterpieces.
    This experience offers a deeply inspiring journey into the serene and luminous world of the Impressionist master.
